What a shame that a stunning frame like that contains only a print. It would not look out of place as a frame for the original painting.

Such a superb frame and an excellent example of workmanship in every respect. Thank you for allowing us to see this!

we made this at the same time as making a similar but much larger frame for an original by Rick Garland which he based a painting on Milais Ophelia

we have recorded the bulk off the project and will up load to you tube when it's done

Yes, shame it's for a print but it gives people ideas as to what we can do here and this will probably end up as a mirror frame over a fireplace!

Nice frame Timh :clap: ...Thought you might like to see the original in it's new frame though I can imagine you well be aware of it. Anyway...posted it just in case you haven't. From a personal perspective I don't think the gilt balls look correct with it but perhaps the customer requested them? Could see them on a mirror frame of course.
