The 2019 Art & Framing Awards take place in Stratford on 18th & 19th May.
Would you like to enter a creative framing or mountcutting competition? As you will see if you check out the latest Art & Framing Today magazine, https://www.facebook.com/FineArtTradeGuild, or https://www.instagram.com/finearttradeguild/ creativity is the order of the day. You can let your imagination run riot! Over the next week or so, more examples of finalists work will be displayed. If you think you're up for it, why not give it a go. You don't need to be a member to enter, but entry will cost you less if you are.
Criteria for both competitions will be published soon, but the Guild Framing Challenge theme this year is 'Gin', while the creative mountcutting competition will be based around an image of a Charles Rennie Mackintosh chair.
**NEW FOR 2019**
For the first time ever there will be a CMC design and cut category, and a non-CMC design and cut category. The CMC category is sponsored by Gunnar, while the sponsor for the non-CMC category will be announced soon.
If you'd like to register your initial interest, just email fsqc@fineart.co.uk
