ARTISTS NEEDED for the Photomedia Open Salon Show 2011
Submissions are now being accepted.

The Photomedia Salon show will be held in June and is expected to host up to 30 artists in the final exhibition. The winning artist will be chosen for a solo exhibition at the gallery in 2012.

This year Kay Mounting are proud sponsors and will be awarding £500 worth of photographic Diasec & mounting prizes to the winner and 10% off their Diasec & mounting services to all registered artists submitting their work.

This will be a perfect opportunity to promote and exhibit your art in a central London gallery where collectors, curators and critics will view your work. Amongst the selectors will be writer Geoff Dyer author of 'The Ongoing Moment'. He also contributes to The Guardian, The Independent, New Statesman, Esquire, Wallpaper*, Monocle, and The New York Times.


STEP ONE
Deadline; Midnight 30th April.

Charlie Dutton Gallery are now accepting submissions for the Photomedia Open Salon 2011. The deadline for applications is bang on midnight 30th April 2011.

Entry fee is a nominal administration fee of £10 per work, £15 for up to three works or £20 for up to 6. We are requesting artists to submit any sort of photographic based work under 100x100cm for example any C types, Alternative photography, 2D Collage, Photo-Printmaking, works which have any 2D photo-mechanical media involved. You are advised to send jpegs no larger than 600 pixels wide with an optional artist statement no bigger than 200 words and size of work and media.

How to apply:

By Mail: Send a cheque made payable to Charlie Dutton Gallery and your entry on CD to the gallery address 1a Princeton Street London WC1R 4AX

By Email: Simply send your work to photosalon@charlieduttongallery.com via the website and pay on-line quoting your receipt number in your email.

STEP TWO:
Delivery of work.
Successful applicants will be ask to deliver their work to the gallery late May.

STEP THREE
Party date to be confirmed.
You will be invited to join us for the opening party.

STEP FOUR:
WINNER’S SOLO SHOW IN 2012


OTHER SMALL PRINT

1. Your image may be used for promotion ie. printed matter and online, the artist will be fully credited.
2. Commission on sales through out the 'Photomedia Salon Show 2011' show is 40%. The winning Solo Show in 2012 is 50%.
3 . We expect you to present the work as professionally as possible.
4. Work must not be over 100 x 100cm.
5. We will look after your work as carefully as possible, however we don’t hold responsibility of any damage or theft.
6. The entry fee is non-refundable.
7. The selectors decision is final.
