Well - I am glad you asked me that...

When we first announced the venues for the BPR 2011 Roadshows - way back in March - a man (who shall remain a mystery - but not our mystery guest) said "Swaffham??? - You're not doing a show in Swaffham are you???"

When I asked him what was wrong with Swaffham he said "I grew up there & I wouldn't do a show in Swaffham - it's not a big town".

Having said that - I pointed out that none of our venues were in "big towns" & that the aim of the shows was to provide a "relaxed atmosphere - where people felt comfortable in having a more in depth chat with exhibitors than they would get at a big town show".

As it happens - they are working out really well & we shall be visiting about 16 "not big towns" in 2012

Details coming soon...

Here are the odds on the MYSTERY VISITOR...

The Tooth Fairy - 10 to 1
His Holiness - the 14th Dalai Lama - 100 to 1 (now that would be cool)
The Easter Bunny - 20 to 1
Delia Smith - 5 to 1 (Well we are in Norfolk)
Tutankhamun - 50 to 1 (Howard Carter was born in Swaffham)
Windy Miller from Camberwick Green - Evens (There are a lot of windmills around here)

Why not come along to see who it is :giggle:

I was so kn*ck*r*d after this one that I forgot to say thanks - so thanks to everyone who came - we reckon we had around 80 companies through the doors & we will certainly be returning to Swaffham in the future.

...and the mystery guest - Wessex Pictures of course. I know John from Dereham was very pleased with all the orders & maybe we will see them on some of the other shows - watch this space...
