customer brought 2 of these things back from india, wanted to be able to see both sides
encapsulated them in mylar then framed with trucolour glass both sides

Did a couple of old maps recently. Also double-sided. And also with the edges showing. I sandwiched the two pieces of glass with p-90 and made a thin insert at the back held in with spring clips. That way you can quickly flip the contents around to show the other side.

Been doing museum work recently and a large exhibition all in hand finished frames, so still contract but more discerning.

I like using mylar in framing as well. It's so versatile, very easy to work with and it's not just for conservation framing jobs, but it can make life easier when framing so many PITA jobs.
