Thought I'd Share This Beaut...

Post by Smiffy »

A collection of 4 strands of hair; 1 from each member of The Beatles.

Strands of hair isn't to everybody's taste, but it's worth pointing out that a few strands of John Lennon's fetched £24k in 2013!

Nice, simple, but effective frame - looks amazing in the flesh!

What would you have done if you had sneezed, dropped one on the floor or got them mixed up? Would you have owned up to it or hoped for the best?! Be funny to think if you ended up framing one of your own hairs and it selling for thousands!! :giggle:

I was say very quietly, taking one hair out of each respective sealed bag at a time, frankly crapping myself incase I dropped one! Luckily, I didn't...!! I'm not one for blagging these things either, taking into account we stock a vast range of autographs! Besides, if I had dropped one, I have 3 stands of each ;)

I secured them by tying a knot of white cotton around each strand. Then I simply stuck each end of cotton to the underside of the top mount with some decent acid free tape.
