Poppy in a box
Remember seeing a discussion on framing poppies previously. Here's my example.
Cheers

Thats a lovely simple example Matt which allows the sculpture to speak for itself.

Re: Poppy in a box
Nice job Matt I prefer the look and feel of the framed poppy, it has a more human touch to it which is what these poppies are all about.
Not that I don't like the display cases (and the ones in the other thread) but they have more of an exhibition feel to them.
Just saying Dreamkeepers but I think it bad form to post your work on another member's thread without comment If you're looking to advertise your services you should post in the Adverts/Sales forum or if looking for feedback then the Good/Bad/Ugly forum and you should start your own thread

Re: Poppy in a box
I was just trying to ignore it especially with all the spam links with the images, a bit of a faux pas in my book.

Re: Poppy in a box
Apologies
I'd seen the reference to there being a poppy display thread and just thought this would be the thread to post boxes on. Now that I look again it is a bit spammy which wasn't my intention, so apologies.
My comment on the original photo - it's beautiful, and shows the benefit of using a good framer. The orientation of the poppy shows the black "button" beautifully and the whole frame is really classy.
