Customer is a Michael Jackson collector and he brought in his autographed jacket and scarf. Wanting to be different he wanted the jacket mounted on a grey bevelled mirror not mountboard .... not an easy job, his attitude was just stick them down with glue! I told him he would lose the value of these pieces straight away if I did this. Each mirror had alot of holes drilled in at strategic positions to hold the work in place correctly. A lot of work and time was involved. The frame is a Salvadori silver, lovely piece of wood. The whole piece very shiney - takes a lot of polishing!

Like these a lot!

I've never drilled a hole in glass, how'd you do that?

Is that one moulding or two stacked? A couple of my suppliers do those mouldings if there are two - love them, dimpled finish. If it's one moulding do you have a link to the supplier?

What did you use for spacers?

Hi Roboframer

Don't try drilling holes in mirror - best left to the glazer - as in my case there was 16 holes in the scraf - the glazer broke lots of mirror before he got it right - that was his loss not mine!

The frame is 2 stacked mouldings.
The mouldings are salvadori 6006/46 and 6007/46 - they are available from Ashforth & Thompson in the UK - great quality product, not cheap.

Glass is set between the 2 frames no spacers.

I carry the range, they sell really well despite the price! Nielsen also do the range, they call it 'Matrix'
