When I bought my Morso and underpinner from a retired framer, he let me have loads of mouldings and mountcard, this was nearly 10 years ago, and I've had this flower covered frame, never thought I would use it , but as you can see I have  :Slap: :sweating: :giggle:

I guess that anything which turns into money must be considered as good.

All I can say is, I love that wallpaper. (The stuff on the wall). :D

I've got a few sticks of that sort of moulding kicking about. Nothing wrong with it just out of favour.

When that moulding first emerged (in the '80s) it was mostly used on mirrors and looked very classy.
It was also uber-expensive. So inevitably cheaper knock-offs came along which didn't look quite as good.
Eventually it descended into photo-printed plastic versions which looked crap. So there was a great backlash and
very shortly after you couldn't give the stuff away.

I knew the picture was taken on the floor :D

It was the toe of your "Hush puppy) that gave me a clue

I remember "Hush Puppies", I didn't know you could still get them. They kind of go with the same period as the frame. :giggle:

Sorry, I'll get my coat.

I did once try putting a wash over that wallpapery stuff. Could look better toned down a tad.
Don't stick very well though.
