We were recently in a hotel in Chile and Jane took a picture of me in front of this framed photo which probably measures around 18m x 2m. The long sides were made from 3 sections of joined moulding.

We asked the staff how the hell they got it into the building and we decided the only way was to build the place around it

Sorry - I meant 8m not 18! Still pretty big!

Is there any way to edit my own posts?

Thanks for that, I thought I'd lost what little I had left of my sense of proportion ! :giggle:
No problem getting it in as long as the door is higher than 2m.

Quite impressive !

Yes height no problem. The problem is that there isn't a straight run at the door

Wonder if that picture is mounted on a board. If so, I wonder where they got a board that big.

I'm thinking maybe it's a canvas print. I wouldn't like to get a piece of glass to suit. Or acrylic for that matter. :?

Apart from that, quite simple.
