Nice way to display paintings

Hi all,
Thought i would post this as i thought it was a great way to have a way to display paintings for sale, and you can change it around all the time to suit particular customers. Also because if things are difficult post lockdown, it is something that can be made using mouldings. The shelf is only 75mm deep, but this is enough for a painting to lean back against the wall. I made them from redwood pine and i removed the centre rebate first, then did chamfers with hand router and rounded the front edges.
You could use a deep box moulding on its side and add a bead with glue and nails and produce something similar.
I was asked to make something for a gallery to be able to show chosen canvases to prospective customers. I machined extra, and a couple of friend liked the fact they are narrow and unobtrusive , but you can still lean photo frames.
I just thought i would share as it may be useful to be able to use mouldings to create different products.
The reason for lip at back btw is that is where i can screw into wall so you don't need brackets.
