Advice regarding Gunnar f1 hybrid

Post by boscawen46 »

Hi,
I have a Gunnar F1 Hybrid. I was having a problem where if cutting several mounts from one sheet nearly all the mounts cut through well but one or two sometimes didn't. It was suggested to me that I increase the air pressure a bit and that has worked well, all the mounts cut perfectly.
The air pressure when I was having the problem was at 5 bar on the machine and now it is at about 5 1/2 -5 3/4 bar. When the cutter head comes down onto the mountboard it is with a definite light "thump" and then when coming down for the other three corners from less of a height it is a much lighter "thump". Can someone who has this machine let me know if this sounds normal. "Thump" makes it sound a bit aggressive though.

Thanks
James
