you might find that going for windows 8 may give you a few compatibility problems with some of the potential software you might choose.

Just a quick update,

Have been using Lifesaver and FrameVue for a couple of months now and apart from a few minor problems that should be sorted with next update, which is imminent. We are very pleased with the ease of use and the control we have on pricing. Still a lot more to come, not started yet with the art section apart from a few test images. We have a barcode reader which has made data entry very easy.
Customers are very impressed with FramVue, more so that i had anticipated.

Valiani Matpro Ultra 150. on order, its like waiting for Santa.. :D

I agree with IFGL, we use the same software, pain to setup, but its very fast and very visual. the printed tickets it produces work very well with my workflow.
