I have searched and searched for reviews on SMART CMC's. There are a few companies that sell them, but there just seems to be no information. I have a pneumatic speedmat which serves my simple needs well, but there is a second hand SMART CMC for sale that I am tempted by. Being in Australia, there is no agent here, and it must have been imported. Anyway, can anyone please share their experiences with a SMART CMC. Are they OK? Can they be maintained alright? Is there up to date software available? Thanks for any thoughts that can be shared.
Cheers, Ian

Ian,
If you go to Mat Cutting Worlds website and click on the machine on the right and play the video - I notice Megawoods name comes up.
Now part of Larson Juhl Australia - surely someone there will know other OZ framers with a similar machine.
And lead you to a source of the info you require
Good luck

Re: Smart Automated Mat Cutter
Thanks very much Keith. I do see that Megawood do sell them in the UK, but not in Australia. They only sell Gunnars, which are way beyond my means. It is curious really as there are plenty of reviews and comments on Valiani, Gunnar, and Wizard (all available in Australia) but I have never seen any review on a Smart. I had a Valiani Mat-Pro 150 and I could never get it working perfectly and it drove me to distraction. My Speedmat is basic, but tends to be unbreakable and I was hoping Smart CMC's might be similar.

Re: Smart Automated Mat Cutter
Ian,
Megawood is not an English co.
They were Australian until sold to LJ Australia
Jared Davis worked for them and then he moved when it became Megawood/Larson JUhl.
Speak to Jared in Zillmere Mobile Tel 0411 612 231
I'm sure he will help you if he can
Or speak to the man at Mat Cutting World - tel no on the website
Sorry cant remember his name, but he is very helpful and proactive.
Good luck!
Keith

Thanks Keith,
I will check with Jared as he should know, even though they don't sell them in Australia. It is called Megawood Larsen Juhl in Australia.
