Wizard 8000 offset glitch

Post by Coxby »

Has anyone with a Wizard 8000 had similar problems when cutting a mount without cutting the outside, the aperture is not centered and is offset about 5mm?

Had the problem with my Valiani - it was the resting position of the head that needed adjusting in the machine settings.

You'll get more/faster replies on The Grumble, loads of wizard owners there.

Hi again Ed

Don't know if you have been on the Grumble yet but you need to adjust either the Horizontal or Vertical Home position on the configuration page.
You want to cut a test mount and measure the left and bottom border as the mount was sat on the machine (ie measure from the back if the board was face down, you will probably want to mark the bottom left border before you take it off the machine), the left border is the Horizontal position, and the bottom border is the Vertical position. If the left border is too big reduce the Horizontal position, if it is too small increase the position.
Please let me know if you need any further help.
