John
Why did you not buy an extra 4feet of cable.
Then you could have hard wired it all. No problems with microwaves and wireless phones

Sorry John, should have posted before midday

The connection is weak though, but I can move the PC quite a bit nearer to the router when I get a min.

Speaking of screensavers, Windoze has a built in screen saver that is linked to the My Pictures folder. Just whack the photos in that folder and select Photos or whatever it says, as the screen saver in control panel.

I've made some refinements, the Wireless adaptor is now protruding over the workshop door frame, which means two (flint) walls less for the signal to struggle through and it's gone from 'very low' to 'medium'.

Did an online order to Arqadia today for the first time - that was fun, shows my favourite mouldings! One other 'favourite' purchase on my account is 'carriage' - I don't remember the last time I never paid carriage from them. Todays order came to £99-odd - carraige-paid on line is £95 and £125 by phone. Result!

Excuse me for being a bit thick, but do you mean that your freight cost on 99 quids worth of product is 95 quid???

No, a carriage-paid order refers to what you have to spend to get free shipping. £95 on line or £125 by phone and you pay no shipping, otherwise, with Arqadia, it's £10 unless you want overnight, and with Arqadia you have until 4pm for overnight delivery, which is damned good! Plenty of times it comes next day anyway, but if you want to guarantee it, it costs.

(Edit - but up until midday Tuesday for free next day delivery on Nielsen's own van, even for just one sheet of mountboard ....... but not, I suppose if that's all you ever ordered ... is even better)!
