Valiani weekend in Lincoln

Post by Tudor Rose »

Congratulations and thanks to John and Mal from VSG for a brilliant 2 days of training in Lincoln on the Valiani CMC machines.

We both learnt loads, had a good laugh along the way and came home buzzing with ideas. John and Mal made the whole thing very relaxed and enjoyable and it was great to meet other framers and catch up with people off the Forum we hadn't seen for a while.

Lots of Eureka moments around the room at various points during the weekend, reminders of things we had been told before but had forgotten about, shortcuts and handy hints for saving time and wastage. All in all, a very worthwhile 2 days (despite the very long trip there and back) and as a bonus we had a chance to wander round Lincoln too on the Saturday evening.

It sounds like it was a great weekend and I for one am sorry to have missed it.

Roll on the next time and maybe if I talk nicely to Father Christmas we might have a workshop over here in NI? Well, you can wish can't you?
