Facebook help

Post by pramsay13 »

I've finally got around to creating a facebook page for the framing. I don't use facebook much so I'd appreciate any pointers with what else to do with it. I've read some of the topics on facebook so I'll work through them, but some specific pointers will be helpful.
And if you could like the page I would appreciate it as my 'likes' are still in single figures!

Looks good, nice cover photo, lots of other examples and the video is helpful too. You need a bit more interaction with likers, so that the page doesn't just become a static advert. Once 30 people like your Page, you'll get access to "insights" about your activity, which provides statistical information about age group and locations of people following, for instance. Under certain circumstances you can also tag your page name as a link on other pages. Just Google and you'll find lots of info on how to make best use of "social Media".

You have to like business pages with your personal profile for the "like" rate to increase. You can like with both but only the personal one will increase the total.

Have a look at my page, it may not be the best but checking other business pages will help you develop your own. I now have "Recommendations" on my page but I think I had to get over 200 likers to have that facility, but something to aim for for the future. https://www.facebook.com/Pelican.Picture.Framing?ref=hl

You'll see that I have tagged my page on your page using the @ sign before my business page name and that is something else you can do under certain circumstances. Again you'll need to Google for more info about that.

Good luck with your page. I've liked yours so maybe you'll return the favour.

These are all good. I keep ours pretty light hearted and don't do half as much as I should but then don't have the time. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Decormoun ... 7985051595

This is great, really helps to see what others have done.

Am working my round the links and liking as I go. Anyone care to take a butcher's at mine?
