Gifts from customers

Post by JohnMcafee »

Over the years we have been fortunate to receive the occasional gift from our customers. These range from chocolates, through bottles of booze, tins of biscuits (yum), cakes, buns and other miscellaneous and welcome treats, to lovely pieces of original art from some of our local artists.

However, today was a new one – an author brought in a copy of his book and signed it for us.
Force Benedict tells the story of Churchill's secret WW2 mission to save Stalin – I had never heard of it, I don’t think many have.

It would be interesting to hear about other unusual customer gifts.

Not an unusual customer gift - but an unusual customer's gift..... she gave me the gift of seeing ... to draw - how to switch my brain from what it KNOWS to what it SEES - a gift that will be with me forever.

It's always good to know that your work was appreciated! After all, they're paying you for the work that has been done, so it is pretty great to know that your efforts are worth even more to them than what they paid. I suppose it's because some projects are so personal.
