Silly old Hector.
When I used that expression of myself to my Grandson he gave me the look of bewilderment that suggests I'm not with it. I couldn't explain it, it just flipped out of some brain cells.

I used to love the cartoon Mary, Mungo and Midge when I was very young - watched a DVD of it a few years ago and couldn't believe how awful it was compared to my memories of it  Mind you I can still remember the daft tune that played when they were travelling up and down in a lift so I obviously watched it a lot.

I'm a bit too young for Muffin the Mule. But I do remember Watch With Mother. :P

Monday. Picture Book
Tuesday. Andy Pandy
Wednesday. Bill & Ben
Thurday. Rag, Tag and Bobtail
Friday. The Woodentops.

My fav was Bill& Ben. Not keen on Andy Pandy.

I still don't know to this day why Father Woodentop never wore a shirt.
