I saw a tv programme about about the turin shroud which
was in a frame, now how would be held in place in the frame
?!

We would go for the conservation method and use silicon. Its lovely and stretchy and the shroud would never come off (but u=you could cut round the fixing points with a good quality scalpel.
As it is priceless there is nothing to lose.
