New to framing in the nw!

Post by nwframer »

Hi All
Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine!
Just started framing and just got all the kit from someone who did it all as a business.
Just got a Morso F, Cassese CS79 Underpinner, Logan Compact Elite Mountcutter, Logan 3 step Oval and circle cutter.
Plus loads of other tools for framing, loads of mount board, backing board glass, mouldings etc etc
Plenty to practice with and learn over the next 6 months.
Does anyone know of anywhere in the northwest that does courses?
So far seen some but all way down south.
I am doing it as a hobby to start and have done landscape and sports photography for many years and may look to combine the two one day if it works out.
First is to get some of my photography printed for home and framed to suit our tastes, some nice big panoramas from our campervan tours of northwest Scotland and the outer Hebrides especially.
Always interested in chatting or meeting any other friendly framers up here in the northwest, I am on the Fylde coast below the lake district.
Get in touch!
All the best everyone!
Great forum.
Andy
