Hotel Chocolat

Post by Not your average framer »

My latest Viking Direct order arrived complete with a free box of 10 chocolates by Hotel Chocolat. Didn't last long - too yummy!

Now let me see, what else do I need from them?

Brittania sent me some chocolates a while back for just responding to an email.

No purchase necessary!

Pitty the wife and kids scoffed the lot.

I was a member of their 'tasting club' for about a year and almost needed counselling to get off it!

Each chocolate, on average, costs about the same as a whole mars bar - but I've never tasted anything like it - I can eat Kirsch soaked, chocolate 'enrobed' (what a great word - chocolates that need to be 'dis-robed - oh man!) cherries until I am sick - just to make room for mmmmmmmmore!!!

A while ago I placed an order with Lion - Instead of the free Lion Bar we just got the wrapper!

One appreciative customer popped her pretty head round the door and gave me a very neat box of Green & Blacks miniature bars. Nice. Or just to call in to thank you for a job well done...makes the day.

Another gift...... anyone tasted a Hershey bar, or is it just me? Yuk!

I'll see your Green & Blacks and raise you a home made Victoria sponge and a big wet kiss.

(Wish he'd shaved though)

Victoria sponge made by the grateful little old lady down the road, and the big wet kiss from her slavering dog.
