coincidence?

Post by IFGL »

cwhat would is the strangest coincidences you have had in your shop.

I once had a ffabric picture brought in of Ayres Rock purchased at the foot of the rock ,
The very next customer brought in an almost identical picture signed by the same fella purchased from the same place but purchased 1 year earlier. This these were hand done pieces not your normal carp. I haven't had one in before or since.
they both came to the same shop in sheffield 20 mins apart after buying art from the same bloke 12000 miles away 1 year apart.

not as big but had a woman bring in a LE print of a map thing, rolled in tube etc

got it framed etc

while it was waiting for collection a woman comes in with a bunch of stuff to frame, and a tube, exactly the same thing, and what really freaked her out was when i say the label i knew what it was. and said before opening oh this is one of those maps blah blah blah

well ya woman nearly fell over, i think she thought she had something special and no one would of seen lol

I once had a customer in who was the spitting image of my husbands best mate. When I took the job and asked his name, he actually had the same name too.

We had guests staying with us from Brooklyn, NY, and as I brought them back from the airport a customer turned up with a photograph of Brooklyn bridge. It's the little things that make you laugh.
