Not an Issue but a surgestion

Post by Steve N »

On some forums I have seen and been a member of, have at the bottom of each post a + or - for if this post was helpful or not
Sometimes I feel I could just hit the + button if it's a helpful post rather than making a new post to "Yeah I agree" or "that was a good tip"

.... and if it's "not" someone will want to know what the problem is.

These things just stifle debate IMHO

I agree I used to be on a forum with them and they became a badge of honour how many likes you had, but didn't really contribute to the discussion. If you have something to say say so or if you agree say so but add something to it as well, that way we get discussion and debate.

I take it that if we had these + & - buttons, you would be pressing the - button then :giggle:

No I would do exactly what I have done above.

Anyway I don't think it is a feature of the standard phpBB.
