hi guys

for some time now this has been annoying me so today when it happened again, i said to hell with it i will post a msg about it.

when i do a search on the forum and when it comes back with a list of relevant threads, i then click on one to view and when i'm done i click on my back button to get back to the list of threads, but it tells me the web page has expired.

anyone know how to fix this my end or is this a forum problem?

instead of clicking back which gives you 'expired' why not go to the top of the page you have found and click on board index which takes you to the front menu. where you can search again. My browser IE8 does the same - not sure if you can return to the search item list? maybe one of the tech people can help JOHN ??

try clicking back two or three times - rather than just the once...

Hi Fionnuala,

When you see the message that the page has expired, click the refresh button (or F5 on your keyboard) and the page will be displayed.

However a much better way is to keep your search results in the browser at all times and open a new tab (Ctrl-click or click mouse wheel) for each of the search result you want to explore. This method works great for perusing Google search results, not just the Forum's.
