Conservation grade fillet/frame sealing tape

Post by Fellows Framing »

Hi,

I have 2 frames to do to at conservation grade and need to protect the art work from the frame AND the wooden fillet/spacer.

Any recommendations on which type of tape to use, ideally one stocked by Wessex please?

Thanks in advance.

This will be what you're after, Frame Sealing Tape from Wessex.

I sometimes line the rebate and top of the spacer with barrier board (500mic) and glue with Evacon-R adhesive.
