Unfortunately 6 years ago my training was. Here is your machine, the software is installed Off you go.
The rest is now self taught.

Make sure that you actually get 'hands on' during the training and not 'This is how you cut a rectangle' Click Click Click.
Remember that you will be paying for a training package, so you need to act like a sponge and bleed the 'trainer' dry.

A one day training package can be fairly intensive and some of it may just go 'Whooooooosh' [over the head] hopefully to be recalled at a later stage. Whilst the basics are fairly easy to grasp there can be a lot of very useful 'activities' hidden within the various tool boxes and other icons. You need to explore these.

If at all possible get the software up and running - even a Demo - on your PC before your machine/trainer arrives.
That way you should have the basics under your belt and know your way around the various pages and parameters.
