Hi just need a laptop for pricing framing jobs running the Estlite program. Do I need a laptop with windows or will a chrom book do ?

Yes, EstLite will work well on a laptop, or just about any Windows device.

Some folk have had success with running on other platforms such as the Mac (skill level required: computer god).

I haven't heard of it running on a Chromebook though.
