Moulding width

Post by Coxby »

Hello, I've just experienced an annoying habit of EstLite - and I'm first to own up to something I'm doing wrong but any ideas would be v.greatful. When adding new mouldings to the database, one of the fields is the moulding width. I've just had one invoice with 2 jobs on and the software keeps upping the moulding width and making the total more expensive.

The diameters of the jos follow if you want to play: -

Moulding name 719801 width 2.6 cms price 497 ppm
Job 1: 42 x 46; 1 standard mount with triple mount line; Plain glass and 10% discount; mount widths: 8.5 8.5 9.5

Job 2: 33 x 44; 1 standard mount; Plain glass and 10% discount; mount widths: 8.5 8.5 9.5

When I get to the preview screen the price has gone up and the moulding widths are now 5.3 instead of 2.6!!!!!!

Is this because the size of my mount widths or is it something to do with my narrow/wide mark up which is currently 5.0 and 3.5 respectively.

Thank you. :?

Oops!!!

Sorry about that, this is fixed in the next release (6.16) due out in the next week or so.

For now, it might be advisable to either avoid the preview or correct the moulding width manually.

Thanks for the feedback,

John

Version 6.16, now available for download, has addressed this problem.

John, thank you for your reply but when I run the update check from v 6.15 it does not recognise the new version and says I have the most up to date!
