Hello,
Sometimes i have some problems when i want to mount my photos to different substrates.
My workflow:
1) I peal off the release linner of the double adhesive and i mount my photo by hand on the beginning of my dibond panel.
2) I open my rolls of my jetmounter and put the beginning of my dibond panel between the two rolls.
3) I push the button fwd and start to mount.
When i watch to my just mounted panel then i see a little line of air bubbles at the beginning of my dibond panel.
It's one the place where i put my dibond panel between the rolls in step 2.
Does somebody knows what i'm doing wrong?
I recently bought the jetmounter so my experience with the machine is little.
Thanks for your help.

I have the same on larger prints....I have a JM34
8x10's and below are fine mount that way, but anything larger and bubbles.Haven't got a clue why this happens either
I now use a leader board on everything

I used to have a excellent Hotpress DVD which explained almost everything you'd need to know about using a jetmounter, but can't put my hand on it now. However, there's a couple of vids on youtube that might help....

on trick to doing it is to use a leader
pice of same substrate
stick extra down to it, then but the proper panel against the leader panel
and run into the machine the leader and then off you go
no issues then

I have just read the manuel and they say:
Run a leader board of the same thickness as your mounting board through the rollers so that the back edge of the leader board is at the nip of your machine.
Square your mounting board with the tacked print against the edge of the leader board and drape the print over the top roller.
