Template for listing list of faults prior to accepting work

Post by deepictureman »

Hi all,

I have been asked if I would clean and replace age related damage on an older (framed) print, however, as I want to be able to list all anomalies and get the client's approval to proceed before I start any significant work, I want to create a client acceptance list.

I would like to achieve this by creating an list of all issues that I can identify during careful dismantling and record each item on the list. Any entry that is agreed not to be addressed will be struck through and initialed by the client. The remaining entries will therefore be 'authorised' to be investigated and or replaced (applying Best Practice) at my discretion and at the client's risk, leading to cleaning, replacement as necessary and eventual reassembly and return to the client.

I intended to call the list an 'Anomalies acceptance template' but am happy to take advice if there is a neater arrangement that is fit for purpose?

I don't want to reinvent the wheel and would be grateful for any advice.

Thanks
