working fine and then for some reason will not clamp. it clamps fine in order to set the wedges but then when using the foot pedal to clamp it goes to clamp but doesn;t hold, just bounces back as though it isn't close enough. Have tried different moulding, setting it up tight, setting it up loose don't know what to do next.

There is a white bodied (with grey end cap) electrical switch located underneath the clamping mechanism (accessible via the cabinet) this switch can work loose over time, if so just tighten back up the brass nut that holds it in place.

thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
i can see the switch but no brass nut? unless I am looking at the wrong thing it was a 1999 model if that makes a difference. Nothing seems to be loose.
