Keencut Ultimat Futura

Post by louisesimon »

Today is the day where everything is giving me problems. I'll start with the Keencut first, then move onto the next machine.

When placing mountboard against the stop edge (ruler side) it keeps moving underneath, and I'm noticing a few mms of movement in the end component. I've got a feeling something needs tightening...

You seem to have a small pink arrow stuck under the stop edge, try removing it, it might help!

Hi Louise, I'd give Keencut a call. From experience, you can usually get a technical bod to talk it through with you over the phone

Hi Louise,
Did you get it sorted? If not try carefully peeling up the right hand end of the label which is just above where your arrow is and you should see a flat topped Allen screw hidden underneath it. I think it may have come loose, tighten it and I think the problem should disappear. By the way make sure there is no debris underneath it before you tighten the screw.

Brilliant, thanks Pepper that's the ticket. All sorted. In the December madness this was forgotten about, but it's good to get it sorted.

Also my names actually Simon, Louise was my old business partner. Don't think I can change it on here though.
