Chain on JM26

Post by pramsay13 »

The chain on the bottom roller came off and I've put it back on but it seems loose and like it might happen again.
Anyone know how to tighten it?

Normally with this type of mechanism you loosen a gear and slide it, often there will be a gear just for tentioning, which does not seem to be on that machine, so I would assume the motor it's self will slide, give me a photo of that part and I will give you an idea which.

Here are a few more photos. Not sure why they are upside down.

Turn the laminator over - on the underside you will see screws under the motor housing - these hold the motor.

Loosen them slightly & then slide the motor back to tighten the chain.
It's not a secret - I work for Wessex Pictures & I'm here to help!!! you can email me at steveg@wessexpictures.com or call me on 07585 138566
