For smaller stuff I buy cellophane bags (EBay).

I get mine from Lion, they stock quite a few sizes. I just wish they didn't fold them as they are always creased and then there are creases left when the pictures are on display.

Thanks for you replys. So guess it's a case of buying a large size and folding/taping the excess back. I didn't realise how expensive the sealing machines are.

On the Transpack website it's difficult to know what the bags are made of?

"Beautiful quality, crisp, glossy resealable polypropylene bags (all with flaps and resealable strips) in 30 micron glass-clear polypropylene - designed especially for greetings cards, notecards, invitations and similar applications
Each cellophane bag or sleeve takes a greetings card and envelope in the stated size unless otherwise stated - we also offer multi-card envelopes for C5 and C6 size cards"

As far as I understand, polypropylene and polyester film is good for archival storage/wrapping but cellophane isn't? Anyone know the ins and outs of the different types of film?
