air operated under pinner

My pneumatic underpinner seems to be working fine It is new to me so I am not sure how it works it clamps ok but no wedge nails shoot up I have looked underneath and the piston is working Where am I going wrong Can you help please

It says ORTEGUIL on the casing Made in spain I bought it second hand Thanks

Are your wedges placed the correct way round, this could stop them firing.

They are placed point first with the tape at the top is this correct That is with the pionted end towards the piston Thanks

The problem sorted thanks Itwas a small piece of nail wedged in the end stopping the machine from working All is now well .What air pressure should I be using i.e.the PSI can you advise Thanks
