Hello still new to framing and haven't really got going yet just a few for friends & relatives
I have the Framers pricing App on Android (from Wessex and same formula as their main PC one)

Test price as follows : 40cm x 60cm (rebate size) Moulding : Wessex b1560, single plain mount, Plain glass, and backing etc.

Not VAT registered, working from home studio, not particularly affluent part of SE England (Margate)

we charged our friends £25 for something similar using mouldings etc. we had as part of acquisition of retired framer equipment

Thank you in advance

Using a pricing program is a good idea for so many of us, but it does not mean that there is no advantage to working out what is going on when the program prices different jobs, what your margins are and how to purchase your materials in the most beneficial way.

This will take time, but you will need to understand how pricing fits in with building a successful business and eventually how to fine tune your pricing policy and the mark up on different mouldings. Quite a few cheaper mouldings will stand a bit more than the usual mark up.
