Round Frame

Post by joh5nny »

I've had an embroidery in today which the customer wants in a round maple frame. I don't think it has to be made of maple, but needs to be wooden and pale in colour. I know that Arqadia and others have ready Made circular frames, but from a brief look I don't think there's anything suitable. I've had a look at Frinton to see if they'll do something like this, but it doesn't look like it from the website. I'll give them a call tomorrow to see if they can. Just wondered if anyone knows where I can source something of this ilk - presumably it will have to be made rather than being an off the shelf item. Any ideas please?

You need a friendly local woodworking shop who will no doubt be able to cut you one with a router.
It's not too difficult if you have the right kit.

Thanks Prospero. Sounds like more hassle than it's worth. I think I'll try to talk the customer into a round mount and square frame!!
