Prop-up aluminium frame

Post by Beau »

Apart from using the two part strut back hinges does any producer of aluminium frames do a neat gadget to make their frames prop?

Thanks Steve -- Yes we do use those slip-on brackets like you mention but recently I was using Nielsons profile 269 and there was not enough rebate for the slip-on bracket to fit in the rebate. I messed about glueing bits of card to the backboard. But I have just this second realised what i could have done instead. I should have used two backboards, one being shorter to lift the slip-on bracket higher than the aluminium (yet another senior moment). Thanks for your reply.
