moulding Identification

Post by The Common Framer »

hi all

Anyone recognise this?

6 /7 centimetre champagne gold brushed finish with black sides. sides about 2cm deep. also: they want a deep bevel mount - its around 1cm and looks to wrapped in same face paper as the mount. Any ideas how this was created?

your help appreciated as always.

cheers

matt

That deep bevel maybe a wooden slip like R&H A231 or Arqadia 151400000
In the photo it looks painted to me...

I think Simons did something similar to the outer moulding, 5408/7008 is about 19mm deep x 54mm wide...

Give me a shout if you struggle to find it. I've got a few lengths of it which have been sat here for a while.
Thanks,
