Hanging wide landscape?
Any advice on which hangers etc. to suit a fairly wide landscape - 1.3m x 50cm, 3mm float, softwood frame. I am thinking strap hangers, but just have a niggle that there may need to be something bridging towards the middle of pic..any suggestions most welcome, or am I overthinking?

strap hangers should be okay on that size, as the frame will then be more or less vertical to the wall, the stress will be going up the sides (50cm), as long as you have assembled a strong, ridged frame, it should be fine, I wouldn't have any problems with it

As Steve says, a well made rigid frame and strap hangers will be fine when hanging on the wall. But as with most frames it's what they go through before they get to the wall that can cause problems
No matter how many times you tell a customer to pick up the frame with two hands, particularly a frame like yours, they will always just grab it in the middle with one hand
On vulnerable frames I often brace the middle of the frame with a wood strut attached with mirror plates or you could use one of these from Lion.
