What colours please

Post by poliopete »

It must be the start of my Christmas rush as I have a number of large Harry Potter prints to frame.

The customer has left the framing to me and her only specification is they are double mounted in the "Gryffindor House" colours, scarlet and gold.

My first choice is Arqadia 8699 football red as the top mount and Arqadia 8611 mustard yellow. Other Aqadia colours that I have considered are a combination of 8020 vermillion, 8246 gold and 8693 bamboo.

I would appreciate any advice/ suggestions on the colours to use and in what order.

Thank you in advance.

Peter.

Hi Pete
I just googled it and searched images https://www.google.com/search?q=%22Gryf ... 626#imgrc=_

I would say the reds are too light, depending on the image I would use Arqadia 8151 Beaujolais and the 8695 Bamboo is about right, that's my choice and I'm sticking to it :sweating: :giggle:

Thank you Steve :D

Just looked at those images and I agree that 8151 Beaujolais is more suitable than the reds. I had considered 8695 Bamboo so it looks like I was at least, half right - story of my life :giggle:

Thanks again.
