Fletcher 2100 sqauring issues

Post by Daveyo »

Well bought a second hand mount board cutter..... but sruggling to get a square cut on tge straight cut head?
Its got the extra extension arm on it but unsure if its set up correctly?
Ive downladed the manual but unsure what the issue is?
If I slide a board olong the base of the right hand extension there is a 2mm gap or so where it meets the other side of the clamp? Is this normal?
Im not suring if Im explaining very well ...
The point is when cutting boards with the straighcut the cuts runs 2 or more mm out which isnt great when then cutting a big mount.... help please!,
Dave

Adjust the left hand base fence so it is exactly square to the parallel cutting guide then set the right hand fence by placing a long steel rule on the left hand fence adjust accordingly. I think I’m saying the correct info but am on my third glass wine [emoji485] [emoji3] (on holiday)
