Best protective felt to use

Post by daveym »

Sorry for a slightly off topic question but can anyone direct me to the best types of adhesive backed thin felt to use as a protective backing or as a protective base. The ones ive come across on Amazon all appear the same with different pictures but these appear to be more of an adhesive craft felt so thicker ie 2mm. Too thick for my requirements. Ideally need a felt with little thickness.

I know Fablon do a range of self adhesive felts so you could Goggle around for them. Otherwise this company specialize in adhesive coatings, -

I used to buy 100m rolls of green felt from them. They could advise on thickness etc or send you samples.
