Cutting circular laminated glass?

Hi
I regularly cut circular pieces of trueview AR70 up to about 90cm diameter and everything is fine.

I am considering using laminated glass for a specific order but I dont know if its possible or ever done? I have not even cut a square piece of laminated glass and the youtube videos I have watched make it look a little tricky.

does anyone have any experience of cutting shapes from laminated glass?

thanks

L

Hi
I haven’t any personal experience of cutting laminate glass but believe that Wessex can cut awkward shapes to order. Hope that helps :P

I think this is a case to farm it out, get your local glazing company to cut it, they cut laminated glass all the time

Needs to be cut on both sides, taped till broken then cut laminate with Stanley knife

Take the glass to a fab shop with a water-jet machine.
