Being a self-confessed muppet when it comes to IT I don't know the answer to your question but, what most members do is post "sold" in the same section.
No doubt someone more competent than me will come along with a better answer.
Peter.

Re: Removing an item for sales
I'm pretty sure you can't, only Admins can do that. As above, leave a message to say Sold, or whatever applies.

Re: Removing an item for sales
The normal procedure is to reply to the same post saying than it's sold, or no longer being offered for sale. Leaving older post available for viewing after they have been sold in this way is also a useful resource for those who are looking to sell their own items and hrlps to provide an understanding of what similar items have been offered for previously.
It is for this reason that we prefer to leave old sales items as marked by the seller as sold and also as a means of keeping moderators activities within sensible limits, Also the move post than need to be deleted increases the risk of human error, This forum only has the two moderators, but in cases where there is a particular personal reason why it is important that something needs to be removed I'm sure that something can be arranged by contacting a moderator.
We do our best to help everyone, but if we had to delete every sales, or wants post that ever got posted, the time comitment would be crazy.
