Hello ,
I posted a query under computer mount cutters when this would probably be a better section.
I have a pneumatic Valiani mount cutter CMS 120.that I am getting back up and running ( it always did a good job in the past)
The pneumatics run the clamps, cutting head in and out and also blade plunge.
Firstly can someone remind me the best air pressure (bar ) to have on this.
Also the big red button bottom left hand corner that you have to pull out before the pneumatics work and when pushed in stops the air pressure is hissing/leaking when pulled out. New valves for these seem incredibly expensive, is it necessary to have this button and can I just bypass it by joining the inlet and outlet air tubes to it together? I have normally stopped the air flow to the cutter anyway from the compressor the end of a session.
Thanks
James

Re: Questions about Valiani CMS 120
Big Red Button is the emergency stop, so if you get your tie stuck in the clamp (or anything else) you hit the Big Red Button to release the clamps
I think 6 bar might be the pressure , but don't quote me on it
