Large headed, old and beaten up looking uphoulstery nails. Where can I get some from at sensible prices.

Thanks Jerome,
I appreciate your efforts, but it's the old and beaten look that I am trying to find. Not so easy to track down so far!
But thanks all the same.
Christmas best wishes,
Mark.

Re: Large headed, old and beaten up looking uphoulstery nails.
I,m looking at roofing felt nails. Thead heads are not necessarily as big as I wanted, but they are quite inexpensive and may look the part if coated with some thinned don bitumous paint and rubbed over with a weak mixture of wax and warm grey biege chalky emusion paint. Used with some narrower mouldings this might pass for something a bit antiquey looking.
I'm still looking from something with a larger head, but I haven't found anything, which fits the bill just yet.
