Post by Cjlewis46 »

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me, I'm having problems finding these fixings anywhere. Can someone tell me where I can find them in the UK.?
Thanks , Carl

Thanks for your help! 🙂 I've been looking everywhere but nothing comes up. Oh well...keep looking or I can make them myself 🤔

A 3D print could do something similar. I might try it. The weight would be carried by an round insert into the frame.

How will you be able to make them yourself? If you are making them individaully, how will they be cost effective. If you can get these produced to order you may have a product whichh you can see to other framers. I don't know how viable this would be.

Lion 787A keyhole hanger is a similar idea. Nylon injection moulding by the look of it.

The fitting in place on the back of a tray frame. I’ll
Probably extend the slot length a little.

Hi Alan,

That's looks great. is it nice and strong? I imagine so! What sort of plastic is it? If it's nylon, or ABS it should be pretty solid.

PLA at the moment but I’ll
Be printing them in carbon PLA or nylon so plenty strong enough.
